First ever camp for creating awareness about gastrointestinal and colorectal cancer

Colorectal cancer foundation is planning to have a camp for increasing awareness about gastrointestinal and colorectal cancer in general public. This will be held on 15th January 2012 at the Apollo clinic East of Kailash, New Delhi. From 9 -1 pm.

The patients will have the following facilities provided at the camp free of cost:

1. Membership of the foundation if desired ? wether to charge or not

2. Clinical history and examination

3. CBC and stool for faecal occult blood test for all

4. CEA and us whole abdomen for selected patients

5. Dietary guidelines

6. Ostomy care education for patients

7. Lifestyle modifications


You are all invited. Specially :

1. Persons > 50 yrs age

2. Persons with frequent alteration in bowel habits

3. Persons with bleeding piles or bleeding in stools

4. Persons with long term abdominal symptoms

5. Persons with anaemia

6. Persons having unexplained weight loss

7. Persons with family history of any colorectal or any cancers

8. Persons suffering from ulcerative colitis or crohns disease on treatment

9. Persons with polyps in the intestines

10. Persons operated earlier for colorectal cancer and are in follow up

11. Persons with any colostomy or ileostomy who need some help in management and care.
